I've been in the drinks trade for thirty years and have always been passionate about the product:
How to understand it? And how to teach that to others? I don't just show off what I can do but teach people how to do what I can do. It is great fun and very satisfying. Most of what I do is in Aberdeen and Deeside in Scotland but I am happy to travel. Most of what I do are whisky events but I still regularly do wine tastings and/or champagne tastings. (I once spent 18 weeks on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean doing wine tastings.)
Whatever the subject, I don't sell the product, I teach people how to unpack the smells.
